Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 49 people.

Important: Participants who have special dietary requirements (vegetarians, vegans, etc.) or restrictions (such as allergies) should notify as soon as possible the conference organizers of necessary changes in the menu in an email with the subject line Special Diet – Excursion to enprconf2023@gmail.com.

Itinerary:

• Departure from Osijek in the morning.
• Coach ride to Vukovar.
• Visit to the city centre.
• A panoramic ride to the Water Tower.
• Visit to Ovčara Memorial Centre
• Visit to the Museum of Vučedol Culture
• Visit to the easternmost Croatian town of Ilok
• Coach ride to the tourist village of Stari podrum (Old Wine Cellar), which is located in the medieval core of the town of Ilok.
• Lunch in the restaurant Stari podrum
• Return to Osijek late in the evening.

The Vučedol Culture Museum and Archaeological Site presents one of the earliest Neolithic Indo-European cultures, situated along the Danube basin in eastern Croatia. Its exhibits document the everyday life and many innovations from 3000 to 2500 BC.

5) Ilok Cellars /Iločki podrumi with expert guide and wine tasting (Optional: extra charge €8). The famous wine Iločki traminac was ordered by the English Court for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

The price (€45) includes:

• Transportation by coach
• Tourist guide in English for the entire trip
• Vukovar city centre (the mouth of the River Vuka flowing into the Danube, the Baroque city centre, Eltz Castle), including a panoramic ride to the Water Tower and to Ovčara Memorial Centre (Find more here).
• Ilok (the Old Fort, Odescalchi Castle, the Catholic Church of St. John Capistrano)
• A ticket to the Museum of Vučedol Culture with a professional guide in English
• A ticket with an expert guide for the Place of Remembrance – Vukovar Hospital
